There are two types of communication:
One is the usual human-to-human interaction, and the other is subject-matter communication, which involves the specialized language of your field...
FOR EXAMPLE,
If you start speaking the language of film, it would be different, and if you start speaking the language of design, it would also be different...
Each craft has its own vocabulary and language, and you need to speak that language...
In medicine, for instance, doctors use complex terms because that’s the language of their field...
This is exactly why we provided a global standard of communication to my students and trainees so they can leverage it in their selling...
When you use these terms, people are more likely to buy from you...
The second type of communication is simple conversation...
Let me give you some advice—include two things in your communication:
Empathy—be compassionate towards people, don’t just grab attention, strive to win them over, try to make the other person feel valued, and use language that reflects this...
But also, don’t become overly manipulative; be original...
To do this, you need to cultivate an inner sense of kindness that can resonate with others...
To develop this, you must keep reading and learning so that the language becomes second nature to you when it matters...
So, first, be kind and empathetic, and second, bring humor into your conversation because humor is universally understood...
